Missing or deficient insulation can increase heating and cooling costs in the Portsmouth, Dover, and surrounding area homes and commercial buildings.  Rochester, Laconia, and Concord resdients may experience uncomfortable rooms and moisture concerns attributed to missing insulation.  Once finished walls and ceilings are complete, identifying missing insulation becomes impossible or at least a difficult 50/50 guess without destructive investigation.

Infrared thermal imaging inspections can provide insight to what may or may not be installed behind your walls and ceilings.  With proper conditions and accurate interpretation of a thermal scan, our infrared technology provides a non-destructive evaluation of wall and ceiling surfaces to determine missing, settled, disturbed, or properly installed insulation!  The image to the right clearly shows the difference between a properly insulated wall (lower dark area) and a wall completely missing insulation (upper attic area which is bright).  By observing the temperature differences, our infrared thermal technology can create an image that accurately describes what is occurring behind finished surfaces.
